Signal Protocol
Private messages use X3DH to establish a session and Double Ratchet to renew keys during a conversation.
Delivery only
The server sees anonymous IDs, routing, time and encrypted packet size. It cannot access messages, files or call content.
Keys remain local
Private keys stay in Keychain or Keystore, while chat history remains in an encrypted on-device database.

Current beta
The core flow includes private chats, attachments, voice messages and calls between two people. The privacy interface brings together PIN, biometrics, active devices and the recovery phrase.

Has Nullix been released?
Nullix is in active beta development. Features, stability and availability may change between builds.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Access can only be restored with a previously saved 12-word recovery phrase. The server keeps no copy of private keys or chats, so recovery without the phrase is impossible.
What data can the Nullix server see?
For delivery, the server processes anonymous identifiers, routing metadata, encrypted packet time and size, and a push token. Messages, attachments and calls remain encrypted.
Are group chats and calls available?
The current beta focuses on private chats and one-to-one calls. Group feature availability depends on the build and will be reflected in the updates list.
Will Nullix be free?
Basic private chats and calls are intended to remain free. Terms for additional features may change before public release and will be announced in advance.
Is the source code open and has an audit been conducted?
No public independent audit has been published, and no open repository is currently listed on the site. Until that changes, Nullix is not presented as independently verified.
